Ingredients

Apple cider mimosas
  • 2 cup apple cider Chilled
  • 1 750 ml champagne or prosecco Chilled
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 apple Thinly sliced
  • 1 cinnamon sticks For garnish

Method

Make the cinnamon sugar rim
  1. Mix sugar and ground cinnamon on a small plate until evenly combined. The mixture should look uniform in color before you dip the rims.
Rim the flutes
  1. Wet the rims of the flutes with chilled apple cider, then dip them into the cinnamon sugar. Add a gentle twist so the rim is fully coated, then set aside to dry slightly.
Build the mimosas
  1. Fill each flute one third full with chilled apple cider. Keep the level consistent across glasses so each serving tastes balanced.
  2. Top each flute with chilled champagne or prosecco. Pour slowly so bubbles rise evenly without overflowing.
Garnish and serve
  1. Garnish each flute with a thin apple slice and a cinnamon stick, then serve immediately. Arrange garnishes so they sit above the rim for easy grabbing.

Notes

Chill the apple cider and sparkling wine well before mixing for the best flavor and maximum sparkle. Serve right away once assembled; leftovers aren’t ideal because the fizz fades, and chilling won’t restore carbonation. For a lighter option, use a sugar-free or no-added-sugar cinnamon topping and keep the rim coating light.
